We opened our first office in Moscow Sheremetyevo airport initially to handle the air freight shipments of Air Space industry customers.
Since 2000, we have continued to develop a range of services for general air freight, sea freight, warehousing and distribution in Russia, and in 2006 we opened our second office in St Petersburg.
Moscow has traditionally been the main air freight hub into Russia, and even though many other airports now service international air freight and have established customs terminals, Moscow still has the largest flow of air cargo imported or exported into and from Russia. St Petersburg also has an international airport and is an important regional hub for air freight. Other international airports in Russia licensed to service import and export air freight are located in Sochi, Arkhangelsk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Ekaterinburg, Samara, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Rostov, Novosibirsk, Ufa and Vladivostok.
Sea Freight to Russia arrives via the Baltic Sea port of St Petersburg in the west, Novorossiysk in the South, and Khabarovsk or Vladivostok in the Far East. It can also be routed via the Baltic Ports of Klaipeda (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia) and Tallinn (Estonia). Customs clearance can be completed at the port of arrival, or sea containers can be transited to an inland customs terminal at final destination and cleared there. Most shipping lines offer a sea-rail service to the inland port of Moscow.
